If I was forced to pick the number one Pizza place in the entire city of Boston..this is a hard one here folks remember my arm is being twisted! Yes someone really wrote in and asked this extremely dumb question. The answer is yes it has more then one.
1) Bean town
Don’t refer to Boston as Bean town unless you want funny looks from people
2) The hub
If New England were a bike wheel Boston would be the center aka the Hub
3) The Hub of the universe
If the universe were a Bike wheel New England and therefor Boston would be the Hub.
4)The walking city
This one is kind of a joke really. Chances are you won’t have any idea which direction to walk and the sidewalk may end due to construction right around the next corner so please for your safety and my family..TAKE A TAXI CAB everywhere you go!

kind of a no brainer here folks. Boston was the first Colony city to forcefully remove the British on March 17th 1776. Before it was St Patrick’s day in Boston it was a holiday called evacuation day. This was the day the British “Evacuated” aka ran for their pansy little lives!

Why would I pick this place? Its got a rooftop pool! The only Hotel in Boston with a roof top pool! The hotel is not too tall so you could easily sit by the pool on a warm summer day and hear me drive by and beep my horn at some other Boston Taxi Cab.

After deliberating for less then a day today February 16th 2010 a Boston Jury found Nicole Chuminski guilty of second degree murder in the arson deaths of 14 year old Acia Johnson and her 3 year old sister Sophia.

Second degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence with a possibility of parole after 15 years.

The girls mother Anna Reisopolous who was Chuminski`s girlfriend testified that they had been arguing the night before at a wedding reception held in Weymouth and that the she had heard Chuminkski screaming and swearing at her from the street moments before the fire bomb exploded on her front door.
Reisopolous and her son Raymond Jr. were unable to rescue Acia and her sister from the upper level of the South Boston apartment and fire-fighters found the bodies of the two girls locked into an embrace.

I had been ordering from this place regularly and then one night while driving my Taxi broke down and the Tow company said it would be 2 hours before they could come and get me. As I sat there starving to death I thought “I wonder if Alfredo can save me? ” I called up told Alfredo my situation and 11 minutes later there was one of his super fast delivery people at the window of my broken down taxi with a Sausage pepper onion sub and Boss diet soda.

How can you beat that?

The historic Emerson street condo complex once known as the Eaton Hotel was gutted by a fire 2 years ago that killed 2 of it’s residents.

The renovation cost nearly $3 million dollars and was completed by Braintree based general contractor Paul J. Rogan co. and CBI consulting inc. an architectural and engineering consulting firm located in South Boston.

Michael Teller principal at CBI and Paul Rogan co. worked with the Condo owners to give them options on how best to rebuild to suit their needs after they discovered their insurance would not cover the complete cost to rebuild.

1) They are the only bar in Southie with a 2 o’clock Licence.

2) They were prominently featured in the Ben Affleck produced film Gone Baby Gone and let’s be honest. Murphy’s was the best actor in the film. Was there ever another movie set in Boston that sucked this badly?
3) It has a 2 o’clock licence and its the only place in Southie that does.

I was once in this place to drop off some T-Shirts for Sean the bartender and who walks in but former Boston Mayor and Ambassador to the Holy See Ray Flynn. I used to read about this guy daily in the Boston papers as a child so I was star struck instantly. The bartender Sean sees me looking and immediately introduces me.

Sean ” Mr. Ambassador I would like you to meet Mike from Southie Cab he is trying to get his new business off the ground”

Ambassador Flynn ” Congratulations have you been a cabbie long?”
Me Smiley widely “Yes Mr. Ambassador” Then a completely blank stare.. that seemed to last around 45 minutes.

At some point the Ambassador realised I was not going to say anything else and said ” Well congratulations and good luck” as he picked up his fresh poured coffee and headed to a corner table to meet a man who appeared to have been waiting on him.
Every time I drive by Murphy`s now I think about this and kick myself for not speaking up. I could have made a play for an endorsement or.. something.. instead I gave a blank star struck stare. Maybe if the Ambassador reads this he will understand.
